Due to the pandemic, for the first time the competition will be held exclusively online and the time available for the development of solutions by the participants will be extended to 4 weeks.

The Copernicus Hackathon Online Edition 2020 starts on May 8 and lasts until June 5. Participants will be invited to freely choose among cutting edge Copernicus challenges using their creativity and inspiration and with the guidance of the mentors, experts, supporters and advisors they will develop their own disruptive ideas in the field of EO. Participants will aim, among other things, to provide solutions to the challenges posed by the SARS-COV-2 pandemic.

Each participant will receive free training on the use of geoscopy data and will claim participation in the EU Copernicus Accelerator for 12 months!

In addition, GET provides access to Sentinel data via the Sentinel HUB API. Every participant will have access to the Sentinel HUB API and create many unique-named instances, according to his needs.
