GET cooperates with the Hellenic Center for Marine Research for the production of the software required for the Research Program Emodnet “Ingestion And Safe –Keeping Of Marine Data”. GET has completed the work regarding the development of the parts of a Portal for data entry by certified users regarding marine environment. Project implementation is part of the research project EASME/EMFF/2015/011: EMODnet Ingestion and safe-keeping of marine data» implemented by the consortium in which HCMR participates as scientific coordinator. System developed by GET is based on free and open source software. For selected HCMR datasets as well as datasets submitted by providers from all over the country, view and download services will be developed according to the INSPIRE Directive specifications. GET will continue to support HCMR for this project, providing services regarding gradual upgrading of portal and services based upon user feedback.
