GET undertook for the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens the development of the Observatory’s website on the topic “Climate Change and Health”. The website, in addition to popular results, will present, on a web platform, the thermal risk in a GIS environment and in relation to environmental, climatic, social and economic parameters. In addition, a map of Greece will be presented with results on the number of attributable deaths and hospital admissions during extreme weather events such as heatwaves and forest fires for different periods, under different climatic scenarios for temperature levels.
